Digital Camera VS Camera Cellphone

Is it worth to get a high end camera cellphone to replace a digital camera?

Camera cellphone is really attractive as one could easily shooting photo anywhere and anytime, to avoid missing any memorable moments. Although, it is not an ideal tool to shoot for quality in mind or by any professional photographer standard at this time of writing.

The quality of picture snapped is a combination of imaging sensor type and optical lens:

  • CCD image sensor is a must for better quality of picture capturing as compare with CMOS imaging sensor.
  • The bigger the CCD sensor, the richest details of picture captured.
  • Generally, DSLR camera (digital single-lens reflex) built with bigger CCD censor than compact digital camera. The smaller CCD censor simply means more pixels have to fit into smaller area in CCD. Hence, one could not expect sharpen picture will get.
As the camera phone becomes smaller and compact, the image sensor would be much more smaller than most compact digital camera. Image sensor used mostly is CMOS type, which produce lower imaging quality as compare to CCD censor. To mitigate the lost of picture quality, higher power optical lens is used to produce a tiny image with much details as possible onto the image sensor.

In brief, camera cellphone help to capture scene of history in convenient way and sufficient for most general usage. The digital camera is the better option for specific picture capturing purpose (preferable DSLR type rather than compact type).

What Is IMEI Of Cellphone

IMEI is shorthand of International Mobile Equipment Identity, which is a 15-digit unique code that uniquely identify a mobile phone to GSM network. Mostly cellphone display this unique code to screen by pressing *#06#.

In case of losing cellphone, the owner could request the telcos to block the lost cellphone via the IMEI code. The cellphone will become useless even replaces new SIM card, unless request the telcos to unblock it again.

Some service providers such as those in UK do use the IMEI to bar the cellphone from accessing any chargeable services once they detect that cellphone using a fault/illegal SIM card.

iPod Nano Review

iPod Nano is much more smaller than iPod mini! Recharging is simply plugging the iPod Nano to any host USB port - the port found on most modern PC, Mac, or laptop!

Audio quality is very good, but not with the original earphone. Its regular 3.5mm mini-jack socket doesn't support remote control enabled earphone. Good points is that iPod Nano comes with an excellent 1.5in high resolution colour screen. Not just for photos viewing, but also built for easier menu navigation. The classic Apple's elegant GUI coupled with click wheel provides the easiest and most intuitive way to control the iPod Nano. That is the reason why iPod family becomes so popular among the various digital music players in the market. Music playing features including shuffle play and on-the-go play list.

iPod Nano of Apple iPod family
Thanks to flash memory technology, iPod Nano offers skip-free music playback, durable, and reliable storage. Anyway, its 2/4GB of memory built-in is less attractive than iPod Mini version which comes with 4/6GB. It turn as USB drive when connecting to IBM compatible or Mac PC. Unlike iPod with Camera Connector, iPod Nano could not connect directly to digital camera for images/video downloading!

Others cool features are such as built-in four tiny games(Brick, Music Quiz, Parachute, and Solitaire), store/view contacts/appointments of Microsoft Outlook, screen lock that support up to 4-digit numerical code.

Step by step SEO

1. Reserch your keywords:
You want to be ranked high by search engines. But for what search terms? If you are selling “vacation in Timbaktu” will users who are looking for “real estate in Timbaktu” be of any use? You don’t want just traffic, you want targeted traffic. Choose your keywords wisely. Let is be relevant to your product, your niche.
Choose keywords which are moderately competitive. There might be a lot of visitors looking for “real estate”, but can you compete with all the big shot companies who are also trying for the same keyword. But if you try a very specific keyword, there might not be any visitors from that keyword.

2. Create useful content:
When visitors come to your site, they are looking for something. They want some information or maybe some jewelry. If you donot have compelling content on your site, will your visitors bother staying? Before visitors and search engines love you, you need to have great content on your site.

3. Optimize your website:
How do search engine know what terms to rank you for? They will analyse your site to determine that. If your webpage has title as “vacation in timbactu”, and that term occurs a number of times, there is a overwhelming probability that this page is about “vacation in Timbactu”. So to optimize your webpage, keep your keywords in the title as well as at some places in the webpage.
However do not sacrifice readability to optimize your site. Your visitors come first, search engines are secondary.

4. Get links
Search engines use the number and quality of links to determine how good or popular your site is. If millions of pages link to your site, it is guaranteed to be good.
Getting links is probably the most difficult part as this is not under your control. To get links
1. Submit to relevant directories like DMOZ, Zeal. They take free submissions, but will add only high quality sites. That is why it is important to have great content before trying to get links.
2. Have great content people will willingly link to. If your site offers some information or tools not available anywhere else, people will willingly link to it.
3. Reciprocal linking, that is you linking to some site which links back to you, is dead. But if there is a site which is relevant to yours by all means link to it and ask for a link back.
4. Links from related fields count much more than a non related link.
5. Choose your anchor words. If many people link to you with a specific keyword, then your relevancy for that search term increases.

5. Wait
There is no magic pill for overnight SEO success. Even if you do everything right, it takes time before your site ranks high. Have patience. Keep creating great content. Keep getting links. And soon you will see your ranks skyrocket.

How to get your deleted files back using google desktop?

You are clearing all the junk on your hard disk. Shift+Del. Shift+Del. Shift+Del. Oops you just deleted that most important file.
Now if you have google desktop search installed you may get back your data. Search for the file name, say "veryimportant.doc" and sort by relevence. Your file must be visble. Next to the description you will find a link called cache. If you click, you will be taken to a webpage which will contain the content of that file.
Google keeps a cache of files on your desktop so that they may be easily searched. You are using that cache to get back your file.

How to get your website back without a backup.

Imagine this. You create a website. Burn the midnight lamp on all that CSS, HTML and what not. And just after you upload your website your server crashes. No backups. Are you doomed? Google to the rescue.
This is based on the fact that google keeps a cache of all websites they crawl. And you can view that cache.
Suppose your site is xyz.net
In google search box type site:xyz.net
Google will show all the pages of your site. But if you want to visit them, obviously you can't. Your webhost has just lost them. Google to rescue. Next to your website address, there is a link called cached. If you click this link you will be taken to a page which will contain text of your webpage. So if you have some time to waste and data to recover, You can get all your pages back. (Sans the css and images.)

CSS or Tables?

What is CSS?
CSS stands for cascading style sheets. They are the new technology used to layout and style web pages.

So what happened to old, trusty tables?
For long tables were the only tool available to the web developers to layout their web pages. But with CSS support becoming common, you now have a choice. Both have their strong and weak points, some more than others as you will soon see.

The advantages of tables.
1. Tables have been much longer than CSS, so even today it is easier to find someone who can do a layout in tables.
2. Most of the WYSIWYG editors output table driven layout.
3. CSS support can be buggy, especially in older browsers. So your web pages may display differently in different browsers.

The advantages of CSS.
1. Tables were never designed for layout. So you can get only limited control over layout with tables. CSS is designed for layout. With CSS you can get pixel level control.
2. CSS decouples design from content. So it makes it easier to enforce a standard look and feel across your website.
3. If later you want to change your sites style, it can be as easy as changing one import statement and using external CSS.
4. With nested CSS, pages become large unnecessarily. Moreover until the whole tables is downloaded no part of it can be shown. This leads to a slow website.

So give me the lowdown on this. Which one is better?
With CSS support becoming common, there is no compelling reason to prefer tables. With CSS you get much more control and flexibility. So unless you are unwilling to spend time learning CSS, upgrade to CSS. Today!
